Heartland Acres Agribition Center celebrated their 200,000th visitor June 25, 2012 since opening the doors in May of 2007. Chad and Liz Smith with their two children, Gracie and Gage, all of Stratford, Iowa made a quick stop to the campus in hopes of seeing Big Bud, the World’s Largest Farm Tractor and all the other cool stuff. Their hopes were well exceeded!

Chad, Liz, Gracie and Gage were greeted by Heartland Acres Intern, Amanda Blair, Heartland Acres staff member, Cheryl Halford, and Iowa Beef Industry Council Director of Industry Relations, Doug Bear. The Iowa Beef Industry Council was the 200,000th guest sponsor.

Chad said, “We’re excited to be the 200,000th guest to such a great museum representing agriculture. Heartland Acres has a great message and the exhibits are top notch.”

The Smith family is a great supporter of agriculture. They have their own corn and soybean operation in Stratford and have also been a food vender at the Iowa State Fair for many years.
